Arist Reflection

  1. Why do you create art and what does it mean to you? I create art as a way of showing and teaching my audience something  that I feel thast they need to know or that they need to see. Art for me is a way of expressing myself in an object rather than through verbal confrontation or actions. It is a way for an object to describe my expressions and self.
  2. What inspires you? How are your inspirations expressed in your work? My family and my dog inspire me most. My inspirations are expressed through my work by a combonations of things that represent my life along with things that repesent the families lifes as well.
  3. What type of work have you made so far? What type of work would you like to make during this semester? I have overall made a lot of ceramic pieces along with most of my sisters facebook photos. I would like to take more photos this year in various fields and places.
Part 2
Artist Analysis
Choose 1 artist and write a paragraph that reflects the following information.
The artist I chose was the photographer Matt Blum and most of his photos are from weddings and celebrations. Matt Blum uses a mixture of photoshop and lighting to emplify the shots. I overall like his sense of style when it comes to his photos and I like the materials he chooses because it really describes what he is trying to say to us.
